4 Things I wish I knew as a Pre-PA in Hi

1. I wish I volunteered more in High school

Finding volunteering opportunities from clubs at your school like American Red Cross or your local hospital will allow you to get more exposer to the medical setting and start gaining HCE and building connections.

2. I wish I would have became a CNA earlier.

Depending on your State you can train to become a CNA,EMT, etc at 16. I would suggest starting your certification classes the summer before your freshman year of college. Starting early allows you to accumulate a lot of hours instead of scrambling to meet the PCE hours requirement

3. I wish I went into college knowing what classes I needed for PA School

Doing your research about the common classes that PA schools require early will save you the stress of lacking certain prequestie courses.

4. I wish I knew how I study best

College is a lot different from high school the amount of material and the amount of studying I'm glad I took AP Biology in high school but going into college knowing if you are

Visual learners, Auditory learners., Reading/writing, etc will save you a lot of time and stress.

If you're in high school right now don't stress you have a lot of time to figure out how to become a Pre-PA and becoming a college student. But I'm glad you're here and excited to be on the Pre-PA journey with you!
